Little Introduction about the Organisation:
The ADC&SW Society
was established in 1978. The Bishop of Alleppey is the chief
patron. The Governing Body consists of eleven, the chief patron
as President, Vice President, Executive Director, Asst.Director,
Secretary, Treasurer and 5 other members including priests and laymen.
There is also a general council of 53 members which includes Local
unit directors and representatives from among the laymen. Since
its inception, the ADC and SW Society is bent upon specific
activities,
for over all development of its target population.

ADC & SW
Society was established in1978. It is an organization that aims
the over all development of the traditional fishermen community.
For this ADC & SW Society had conducted many awareness as well as
capacity building programmes to its target population, throughout
these years. These animation programmes could bring certain
changes among these people. Now they are well aware of their
life situations. With the formation of various grass root level
organizations, now they are in the path of reformation & development,
that may fulfill the aim of the organization in the ling run.
Major Achievements

Housing, Health
& Sanitation programmes. About 2000 houses were constructed
all over the target area. Various health camps were
conducted throughout the year. 2000 Toilets were constructed
in municipal as well as coastal areas. |
